Use STAR for “Tell me about a time…”. Keep answers to 1–2 minutes.
S
Situation
Set the scene in 1–2 lines. Where were you? What was the challenge?
Ask yourself
Where were you working, and what problem showed up?
Example line
“At Northline, our mobile checkout had a 42% drop-off rate during peak festive sales.”
Avoid: Don’t tell a long life story — one short scene is enough.
